My house used to have gas, but I had it removed when we moved in.
The meter box for it is flush with the house - so in this area the wall must have been reduced to single block, with the cavity insulation maybe?
Would it be worthwhile packing the disused box with Kingspan?
Also, would there be much benefit in adding a layer on Kingspan to the inside of the electric meter cupboard door? And are there any issues, as the electricity meter box is still in use?
Thanks!
