Hi
Hi wanted to put some new lights up in garage so cut a hole in ceiling and fitted an access hatch thinking I could climb up there however after seeing the timber decided it probably wouldn’t be safe to climb around in there, I managed to fish my cables where i needed so that job was ok. The garage is in heated and in winter gets to the same temperature as it is outside, I want to put some form of heating in there to keep it a constant say 5 degrees in winter but before I think about that I need to prevent any heat disappearing as soon as it is there. How can I insulate the loft area without climbing in there? Pics below shows the structure, I could roll some Rockwell insulation down the middle and push it to the end with a bamboo cane which would insulate a good chunk of the space but I think unless it is all covered it’s not going to help a great deal.
