I have a room-in-roof first floor with storage space in the corners where I want to improve the insulation. Currently there is old rockwool tucked behind the rafters up against the membrane (see pic), and nothing on the floor. I plan to lay solid board insulation on the floor, covered by plywood. Is it worth adding solid insulation between rafters too, and if so should I remove the rockwool to maintain air flow? Otherwise I'm planning to fix plywood to the rafters to make a clean storage space, any problem with this?
