Insulating single skin garage wall.

I have an integral garage with one single skin outer wall. The garage is always freezing so I want to insulate this wall and and a radiator.

I’m thinking of battening the wall with 63mm timer and adding 50mm celotex then foil backed plasterboard.

Do I need to insulate the pillars?

Does my method sound okay?

Any advise or guidance on better ways to do it will be greatly appreciated!
