insulating timber frame

Hi

I live in a terraced house built in mid sixties, it is half timber framed (upstairs) which has a felt, stud and tile facia.
I would like to insulate it, i thought i could remove the internal plasterboard, roll in loft insulation and reboard.
Does this sound ok or is there anything i should consider.
