I'm boxing in two Velux light shafts above a monopitch kitchen roof down to the ceiling level and wondered what was the easiest way to effectively insulate the shafts.
The rest of the ceiling area just has fibreglass batting laid between the joists.
The plasterboard will be fixed to the inside of 35mm wide trusses. So 35mm doesn't provide much depth.
Should I be looking at sheet insulation materials and cut to fit between all the bits of trusses, or can I just buy some insulated plasterboard and job done?
I'm in SE England, Northwest facing roof.
Thanks in advance,
John
