I am having a new roof fitted with man-made slates ,and would like advice on suitable insulation. The board needs to fir between the plasterboard ceiling and the slates, the rafters being 75 or 100mm depth. Would something like Kingspan or Celotex be suitable?
Secondly ,when were roof vents phased out ?I think they were no longer needed once breathable roof felt was available at an affordable price?
