I have an old pig sty to convert into holiday rental accommodation in the Dordogne. The pitched roof comprises pantiles laid on softwood boarding on 100mm timber perlins. Ideally I would like to expose the perlins from below but am not sure what type of insulation I should be using. Any ideas?
