I'm wanting to raise the depth of our home insulation by 100mm but still keep the loft with a solid floor as it has at the moment. Increasing the thickness/depth of the joists would be difficult. What I would like to know is if there are any problems with insulating over the chipboard so the floor is still solid if we need to go up there or does this produce condensation problems etc? Much grateful for any help - is 1st house with fiancee
