Good morning all. I have just completed a lean to extension to my garage consisting of 6 courses of brick with a timber framed, plastic clad structure with grp flat roof.

My question is should I insulate the walls? I was going to insulate the ceiling too, however after reading about cold roofs, I’ve gone off this idea.

Is there any point insulating the walls and not the ceiling? This is just going to be used as a shed, but keeping it dry and condensation free are key as I want to keep camping gear inside.

Can’t help thinking there’s no point insulating the walls and not the ceiling?

Insulation to walls and ceiling.
Put a low powered heater in. Something like a 240v 40watt tube heater.
Need air vents either side so fresh air blows through and keep temperature above freezing...
See how it goes.

I did similar with rock wool behind osb board on walls.
25mm Kingspan on ceiling with osb board over.

You could just use polystyrene sheets as cheap on walls and ceiling
