My lounge has a void (about a meter high) underneath it from which I can see seven inches of block between seven inch wide concrete beams. The beams protrude a couple of inches down below the bottom of the blocks.

I wish to insulate it and would appreciate advice on what material is best for this purpose.

Also how can I best attach it to the concrete and should I only insulate the blocks or should I apply the insulation under the beams trapping an airspace under the blocks?

Any advice would be appreciated

How the fudge do you intend accessing/working under the floor? Is there no room above the B&B floor?

There are double doors into the void and its is directly below the lounge. Working underneath will no doubt be uncomfortable but by no means impossible.
