I'm working on converting an old outbuilding into a couple of rooms. 200 year old building with single stone wall, around 40cm thick.
After much advice Ive built the stud wall, and have bagged a good deal on some bulk insulation that will do the walls and floor. I was planning on 100mm but ended up with 130mm.
However, the PIR boards are non foil. I was gonna go foil, but the deal I got was too good to turn down.
Given the boards don't have foil, would I be best to use a foil based vapur barrier like this;
As opposed to standard green vapour barrier sheets?
