Hi,
We have some insulation board left over from insulating an extension.
We had to take down some lath & plaster ceilings and walls in the original part of the house as well.
Would it be beneficial/a bad idea to insulate the old part with board as well. We've been told that condensation might be a problem. There is Tyvek under new clay tiles on top of new sarking.
I'd like to insulate between the studs and in the pitched rafters. I have some sheets of sheathing ply as well, would it be helpful to fit it over the gaps at the end of the joists and behind the studs.
