Hi, I'm about re-insulate my integral garage ceiling ,because the bedroom above is quite cold. I intend to do the following ,and i'd really appreciate anyone's thoughts
first take the garage ceiling completely
staple the current flimsy old fiberglass insulation to the underside of the bedroom floorboards ,
fit in as much celotex into the cavity between the joists as i can
and put a bit more fibreglass(the stuff on a roll) between the celotex and fire resistant plasterboard of the garage ceiling, so the celotex has a nice snugg fit.
what do you think?
