Hi All,

Struggling to work out about waste etc for integrated appliances.

I understand that there is a cut out along the bottom rear of the units, approx 150mm high, by 60mm deep. In this cutout section, is this where the waste and feed pipes come out?

I will be having an integrated washer/dryer, and an integrated dishwasher next to each other, so wondering about the stand pipe for the waste.

Any tips on plumbing these integrated appliances in?

Many thanks

you are right about the cut outs, you need to set up the plumbing supply and waste into the adjacent unit in a position to allow the pipes to be connected and the machine slid in without trapping the pipes

thanks for the reply.

As the 2 units are sitting side by side, and a wall to the right, there is a 200mm unit to the left which actually hides the main stop tap.

Could i mount the stand pipe (or 2) in this cupboard at the back for both appliances to connect into.

Also, for the feed, do i also have my taps in the 200mm cupboard, and then just use the hose that comes with the integrated appliances to run through the cutouts, and into the cupboard with the taps it.

basically im trying to say do i not have any fixed pipes behind the appliances in the cut out, and just use the cutout to feed the waste and feed pipes through?

yes pipe everything back into the unit, if you have the supply valve behind the appliance you will struggle to get the machine out to turn off the water in an emergency, and also if you put the pipes behind the machines in can cause them to be held too far forward, you might need long hoses to make sure you can feed them through from the second machine
