This is a tube that I have not ever seen before and need to know about!

It looks like 15 mm plastic tube ( and at first I though that it was! ).

But its actually white plastic tube OVER copper tube at about 10-12mm or perhaps on account of the likely age then 3/8".

The house was built about 1970 and originally had electric storage heating. But sometime later, perhaps about 1985 was upgraded to a gas fired wet system using this tube.

Who knows about this tube and particularly the exact sizes and so the options for connecting to it.

How about 12mm plastic coated copper.

Often used in the 70's in conjunction with the bottom centre tapped rads!

The rads are all standard types and probably replaced since original installation.

Are you pretty sure its likely to be 12 mm ?

Certainly looks like 12 mm though.

My next problem is finding 12 mm fittings and tube!

Do you not carry a Vernier caliper? ;)

I got 12mm end feed fittings from the local merchants last year.
Easier to go up or down a size with reducers though.
