5 months ago I had a new boiler and CH replaced, over the last month, the hot water supply has become unreliable.
Because its a combi, the HW should be "on demand" and the flow temp should be around 60 degrees.
When I turn the hot water tap on, sometimes the hot water comes out OK, other times the water is tepid for a few seconds (residual heat) and then runs completely cold. On these occasions, the display on the boiler, the flow temp often reads quite high (90 degrees) but there is no flame light and no burner noise.
My only option is to turn the power to the boiler off and then on again and the boiler then fires up to produce hot water.
any thoughts - Ive got an engineer coming out soon, just thought I'd pick your brains
