Hi

Where would a dpc be placed if the floor level externally is the same as internal. I want patio area (slopes away from house) to be the same height as internal floor

If the external dpc is 150 above ground then the internal floor will be 150mm below the dpc

I'm getting building regs drawings done but just want to understand the placement so I can plan what goes where

Nothing is built yet so want to ensure what I want can be done

Thanks in advance

inside and outside DPC dont have to be in the same course.

but it would need stepping down at door openings.

you will need to consider the detailing at the doorways -probably will need a threshold aco drain

Thanks Notch

Only just saw your reply. I think the drawings show two dpc's

Yep, going for a drain at the doorway.

Thanks
