I've recently had a new Baxi combi boiler installed.
As the photo shows, the old boiler's flue pipe ran through this wooden panel to outside, while a new hole was drilled for the wider flue pipe that came with the Baxi.
A flue kit has been added to vent the gases away from the flue outlet, and the outside of both holes have been sealed. Unfortunately, the fitter hasn't finished off sealing the inside of the two holes and is in no rush to come back and finish the job.
I was going to use wood filler to fill the "old hole" but given the flue pipe gets warm, what should I use for finishing off around the new flue pipe?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
