Hi all,
Making plans to renovate my first apartment.
I'm going from this:
and thinking of going to this:
As you can see I am creating an internal hallway to solve some layout/fire escape route issues but know this space will be dark.
I had planned to block off the kitchen door and fit a new door to the lviing room in the new internal stud wall I need.
However, I'm now thinking a good way of getting light into the hallway might be to fit some fixed internal glazing to this location (see the plan).
Has anyone got any thoughts? Am I mad? Is it guaranteed to look awful? Or is this something I could pull off??
Should I go for a fixed clear panel? Frosted/Smoked? Coloured? Glass Blocks??
Any comments welcome as always!!!
Rob
