Internal side of upvc windows...

I stripped all the tiles from the walls in my bathroom today including around the window.

The tiles were there before the replacement windows were fitted. They had glued some upvc clading about 28mm deep over the tiles and butting up to the window to cover the gap from the edge of the tiles to the new window. This fell off when the tiles were removed.

Is it ok to plaster up the remaining gap and do away with the cladding?

Hey ye you can plaster right up to the window the 28mm facing is just cosmetic, it’s a tidy way of finishing the rough area around the window without having to replaster.
