Hi all,
Have stripped back an bathroom wall (over bath) that is single skin extension, internal front bay and internal walls of an outside toilet area, all plaster off.
Old plaster on all been there many years but all had some signs of old/previous water ingress.
Question is to play safe when bonding such walls, is there a liquid or something that will work with bonding acting as a waterproofer without affecting the plaster?
Or other than the pva wash is there something else or some other way to approach this?
Bathroom will eventually be tiled, so think a multi-finish plaster coat is needed, is that right to tile on multi-finish skim rather than straight on to the bonding?
The other walls will be multi-finish plastered as will be painted.
Many thanks, Johan
