Can any of you knowledgeable folk tell me when the use of cast iron guttering and downpipes became commonplace in private building in major cities?

well, the first iron cannon was cast in Sussex by Ralph Hogg...C. 15?? and the melted lead was totted by PikeyPete after the Great Fire of London 1666...he was well hung @ Newgate, according to Sam PeepsDIYnot Local
