INVENTION IDEA. help me

hi guys so i have this genius idea for an invention that ive had in my head for years. After months of research ive realised there is nothing of the kind on the market. anyway my question is i have a 1.5M width x 3M length 6mm plastic sheet, and what i need to do is half it so it will fold up into .600x 1.5m but remaining intact whilst remaining flush when opened . any ideas would help cheers

Your won't be able to halve it both ways. You could do one fold with a living hinge but you will need to split the other one.

Simple maths would tell you, you just can't halve it and end up with the finished size you mention.

Plastic can hinge like this...

...so you would need a double row of those plastic teeth right next to each other in order for it to fold back on itself.

Even Lego hinges like that...

Too much information! I had a good idea once and neatly lost out because I asked a friend a technical question. That ex friend then tried to flog a vague outline of my idea to the same company I was negotiating with.

After cutting 300mm off a 3m X 1.5m 6mm plastic sheet, i need to halve it so it will fold up into 2 pieces, 600x 1.5m but remaining intact whilst remaining flush when opened . any ideas would help cheers
