Irritating problem.

My flush was working fine, then the box with the cable started to come off when I press the flush. I cannot see if anything is missing or broken. Cannot see why this started. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much. Now I need to search the syphon and cistern. If there is nothing there, I might have to get creative.
