Is Dulux Trade Weathershield Flexible Primer ok over 4Trade All Purpose Putty?
I have a hardwood front door that I am using the 3 part Dulux Trade Weathershield on.
Door is made from new, and has traditional single pane glazing which has been puttied using 4Trade All Purpose Putty. The putting was done ~3 weeks ago.
Am I ok to use this primer over the putty?
I have been unable to find confirmation one way or another in the paint’s data sheets. I popped into local Travis and they looked on their screens and said ‘yes you’re fine’, but confidence was not necessarily inspired!
I would still like to finish using the third stage of this system - Dulux Trade Weathershield Topcoat (gloss) - but if not am open to suggestions for both primer and top coat.
