I know, I know, not another eggshell based thread you think.... but I can't see that anyone has answered this specific question before.
I will paint my slightly tired old bathroom and kitchen in white eggshell either way, just to freshen things up a bit. But the tiles left by the previous owner as a splasback behind kitchen sink and bathroom sink are really ugly.
My question is:
Can I hack of these tiles, cover the same splashback area with eggshell and presume that this will protect well enough? At least until I have decided on new tiles 6 -10 months down the line? (In the bathroom I might potentially not want new tiles behind the sink at all if I can avoid it.)
While I have your attention; there are a few tiny brown specks on the bathroom wall right now. Some kind of fungus/mould I presume. Do I prime with something mold killing before the eggshell goes on?
