These are 'google-ads' inbedded in the script of the pages. Google directs appropriate ads to the scripts, hence the type of ads you encounter here.

When someone clicks on the ad, the 'owner' of this site gets a little bit of money

Can't really be blocked by ad-blocker (or not that I know of)
