Is it ok to mix exterior masonary paints to get right shade?

I got some ‘Yellow Sandstone” coloured masonry paint today and applied it but it seems a bit too dark. Is it ok if I mix some white masonary paint into some of the sandstone yellow paint to get the desired shade? They are both waterbased paints but of different makes.

It will be fine. You may need more white than you'd think though. Make sure that you keep some of the batch for touching up further down the line.
