IS IT OK TO TILE ONTO BROWNING?

Hi guys,

Is it ok to tile straight onto a browning coat or has a wall got to plastered?

If its small patched in areas then you can if you prime it with acrylic primer first,if its large areas then it needs a skim.

depends how small, tiny areas you can go straight onto.

What do you call tiny? And does this definition of tiny vary with the size of tile?
