Can anyone tell me if this roof looks strong enough to take concrete roof tiles? If not what would I need to do?

i assume you have slates ??
in general concrete tiles need around 40% extra support so suspect no but no expert

I'm also not an expert, but my gut feeling says no. You'd need to reinforce the ceiling to take the extra weight.

I'd be more inclined to use slates (or eternit tiles) and put in some steel purlins to support the roof so that you can open up the roof space. Looking at the inline fan, you've got the outlet higher than the fan, and you may find that waters condensing back into the fan. You might need to install a condensation trap on the outlet side of the fan.

Just wondering.. why does the extractor hose just vent into the loft area?
