Is Oil Based Undercoat the same as Solvent Based Undercoat ?

Hi

I want to use an oil based undercoat to paint over some silicone sealant and then emulsion over the top.

Is Dulux Undercoat an oil based undercoat ? I have read in the product sheet that it is based on white spirit ?

yes mate.. solvent based is what we call oil based.

White spirit is oil-based ie; refined from oil
Oil-based & solvent-based are the same thing
