Right, then. My old Maytag works just fine, but wifey dearest has plans to replace the countertops, and she doesn't want the air gap on display on her new sink/countertops. Is it possible to mount the air gap under the cabinet? Is this likely to cause any problems for the dishwasher, or flooding the cabinet? I assumed I might mount it as high as possible under the cabinet. I can't see replacing the unit with a newer model that doesn't require the air gap - no chance there, sweety - if I had money to burn, I'd buy another BSA or Triumph. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Rants? Many thanks!
