Hello all,
In the past I have treated the facia boards on my house extension with wood stain (see picture). If I do that again I reckon I'd probably have to remove the old wood stain before applying new.
Would it be a good idea for me just to remove all the obvious loose wood stain, then use a basic shed and fence treatment on the facia boards? Then every year apply shed and fence treatment in autumn. Although I'd have to do it every year it would quick and easy to do.
The area is quite sheltered from prevailing winds and sunshine. In the longer term I could fit plastic boards, but that can wait until I retire.
Any suggestions and comments welcome
