Is this a genuine service stamp?

Hi,
I ask because there's no name or address of the garage in question. It is also the only way of verifying if the milage on the van is correct (its only just had its first MOT so no milage history from that). If it's a fake stamp then its almost certainly a clocked vehicle.

No. It’s a Mickey Mouse made up stamp.
Stopped me making an expensive mistake then. This is the third van I've viewed in a week and the second that has almost certainly been clocked. It seems clocking a vehicle just before its first MOT must be fairly common and quite easy

A stamp in a book, on its own , means nothing. Copy invoices to match with the stamps are the easy way to check.
 
I wouldn’t take any paperwork for motor vehicles as genuine, even the Main dealerships are at it!! Look for obvious signs of wear on brake discs etc, especially on first MOT vehicles.
