Is this electrical work up to scratch?

Hi, I've just had some electrical work done after a meter move, to install a new fuse box and reconnect 6 existing circuits plus electric shower in a new location. It's all a bit of a temporary job until the house is fully rewired in the next 12-24 months time. I'm a little concerned about some taped joins (one being the electric shower) and it all looking a bit of a mess. Am I being overly fussy, or is this all up to standard?
Many thanks!

Even without those joins it looks Shoddy, are they re-terminating some of the Twin & Earths?

Some single insulated cable too

That is not all recent works, the cable with the tape on looks interesting, take the tape of and see what is under, surely not just taped, ive seen it before.

There's temporary (just overnight) and there's temporary (2 years).

He should have done a better job than that bearing in mind it's going to be like that for two years.

The joints should be in enclosures.

What are the single insulated looking (the brown and the blue) wires?
They shouldn't have been left like that.

Hi guys, and thanks for all your comments.
The single insulated cables all appear to be earth cables that he's gone from green, joined to brown, then to blue because there was not enough green.
Luckily I've not paid a penny yet, and certainly won't be paying full price.

Earth cable should be clearly and easily identified as any cable should be and the correct colour , I would check how he has joined them based on what the picture shows. I can see a section of the green with insulation removed, this suggests it has been joined in a very bad way at some point and would not give you a good earth. Temp or otherwise it doesnt look or sound good
