Is this flue correct?

We had a flue extension fitted last week. After heavy rain last night lots of water came out the bottom of the boiler and now it won't fire. I am trying to get the plumber back but would like some advice first.

Does the flue look correct to you? I am thinking there are a few errors.
1. Angle of the whole thing looks weird. The bottom bracket screw is only touching the wall, not screwed in. Obviously not right. Seems like the whole thing should be further in the wall.
2. When it was fitted, the old 70/110 flue was pulled out and this one slotted through the wall in the same gap. No new mortar or sealant. Is that normal?
3. There was no testing of the new flue done inside or out. Just checked that steam was coming out the pipe, then left.

We have used this plumber lots before so didn't question anything but starting to have doubts. Could any of this have caused the leak? Is the boiler going to be shot now?

Clearly wrong. Multiple issues. You need to get your man back pronto. (He is Gas Safe Registered?)

Can you post pics showing the writing on the label on the lower external fitting and also one of the flue from the boiler side? If you have the packaging from the plume kit a pic of the label on that, too.

The boiler may survive but the air intake, flue length, weathering and water ingress need sorting first.

This is the label on the lower bend on the displacement kit.

This is the flue from the inside. This bit was fitted about 8 years ago with the boiler. This wasn't touched when the displacement kit was fitted. He just slid the existing concentric pipe out from the outside and slid the new one in.

The company is gas safe registered but I don't know if the individual engineer was. We have had various engineers before but never that one.

Would you be kind enough to list out the issues you can see so I can make sure they all get addressed. The company boss is coming round tomorrow so I want to be armed with the right info.

Boss of the company came round to assess. The water had in come in through the air intake on the flue. Inside the boiler had all dried out and it fired up ok.

He looked at the flue and thought it had been fitted OK. I explained that I thought the whole thing should be in the wall further but he did not agree. To be fair I found some images from the flue instructions which looked the same. The square plate won't sit further out because the exposed section of the concentric flue is larger diameter.

Can you please confirm exactly what issues you could see so I can call them back if required.
