Hi, this is the top of a bathroom partition wall. Splits between bathroom/bedroom and ends onto an external wall. There's some gaps around it and wondered if it needs any expansion foam to fill the small voids?

Ceiling had dropped. Probably from new as I can see plasterboard above stud.
Not moved in years so it's up to you if you want to fill with foam

Yeah, it hasn't affected anything in years so will just leave it. I did notice the old insulation that was there was a bit dark (possibly mould?) in that corner so not sure if this related

No insulation at the edge causes cold board and condensation. Common

So I should try and stuff some rock wool there? Or insulation foam between the external wall and end of partition wall?

Loft above?
Go look around edges for plasterboard. They always miss the edge with the narrow gap.
Rockwool is fine

Do you mean look for missing insulation in the edge of the loft board above? Or on the end of that partition wall? It does face brickwork from what I can tell

Anyone else able to give advice? Was hoping to put the wall panels on today

Foam it. Put newspaper on the floor first.

Thanks. Ah I foam the small gap between the end of the stud wall where it meets the external wall here. And/or above the top plate too?
