I'm trying to identify if the plaster on this wall is sand/cement or gypsum plaster.
The wall is poured concrete (c. 1930s). Then there's a thick sub coat which is brown/pink with crystals in it. Then there's a thin pinkish top coat, and then a few layers of paint. This picture is a section taken from the side.
Are there any other kinds of tests I can do to check if it's gypsum?
