Is this mold?

Hi All,

I bought this nice table from the 70s by Bruno Rey. I can't tell if the banding around the edge has mold or not, and if so, what to do about it. Will it continue to get worse unless I address it? If I do want to address it, any tips on keeping the patina similar to the legs of the table?

Looks like mold....

Try a mold cleaner on it first...

It looks nothing like Mold

Probably just years of use , food stains etc. ( see Wayne’s advice)
