Is this my bleed valve on my rad?

Hi all
Need to bleed the radiators in my house but unsure how to bleed the rad in my bathroom I can't see a conventional bleed valve anywhere but have this what I'm assuming is the bleed valve ?
If anyone could advise that would be great

I just wonder - how does this design allow top level air out via that bleed valve that resides at the bottom of the pipe?
