new boiler fitted ... vokera compact 29 condenser.
occasionally when it fires up theres a loud bang/thud from it , is this the burner igniting the gas in the chamber ? or is it not normal ?
sounds like someone slapping there hand on the casing ,
any help appreciated

sounds like explosive ign......
1st thing i would be checkin is that gas pressures are correctly,(not a job for a diyer)
then look at flue to make sure it is installed correctly.....

if it is new - get ur installer back or get vokera out to check it

Case might be loose. Worst cases in the world, if they aren't screwed up properly they rattle big time when the boiler fires.

Four screws underneath the case two at the back and two at the front.

I think we should start a partition for better vokera cases...I hate them!
