Just been in the loft and noticed I can see daylight, is this normal with a new build that’s 2 years old? I have attached picture and circled where the light comes in. There’s a few areas, I know it’s hard to see in photo. Thanks
I may be laughed at by the roofers; to me, it looks just like what a dry ridge should look like.
There are some places where the ridge hasn't been fitted very well and I'll leave them to comment.
However, the ridge, out of all the places on the roof, has the least amount of rain running over it - so no need to panic.
For some further reassurance and if you are friendly with your neighbours, see if you can have a peep in their lofts?
Something closer and more in-focus would be better; those holes may be an angle at which you wouldn't get rain falling, but diffuse light is omnidirectional
