Hi all. I'm seeking opinions at this point. I've noticed cracks overtime appearing and seemingly getting worse over the course of the year. I know it's possible that heat/weather can do this, especially with the levels of heat we've been having recently but I'm quite concerned that this could be signs of subsidence?

The property in question was built in 2006. It is a purpose built block of flats of 3 floors. I'm on the 3rd floor.

Any further info required , i'll be happy to supply

The walls were possibly built using taper edge boards and with the cracks being fairly uniform in nature it is consistent with a taped and jointed finish where a folded paper tape is run into the corners and filled over. They could be raked out and refilled using a scrim tape to strengthen the joins and then skimmed to feather it flush but would be worth getting a tradesman in for the best result.

Thank you guys, appreciate the help on this. I've gone into the communal areas and taken some photos of some cracks in the stair case, that first image is the ceiling of the top floor. Just wondering what your thoughts are on these too?
