We are having our pine floorboards restored and to replace our original damaged ones the contractor (reputable and well-reviewed) has supplied some he 'had from a previous job'. He installed them without showing me them or telling me anything about their condition. Some are in OK nick, some less so and the odd one not great at all- does the one in the attached photo (please ignore terrible wood filling- separate issue) show definite signs of woodworm? If so is it likely to be harmful and should I demand he takes it back up and supplies better ones?
He's agreed to supply the boards for £30/m2 + VAT which he says is less than he would sell them to the timber yard for but given the condition of some this seems fanciful.
Any advice is gratefully appreciated.
