ISTOR 325

In have an ISTOR 325 and find that the pressure goes over 2 Bar as I adjusted it without the boiler fired up.
How can I bring the pressure down safely please?

Easiest though somewhat time consuming way is to open a radiator bleed valve until the pressure's down to 1.5bar when the system's cold.
