Not necessarily a good thing, if it happened.
As my old pa used to say (when discussing why we didn't just knock off ira top brass), "if we did, we'd have no control or idea what the next ones would do"

It's fun isn't it?

All this Parliamentary Sovereignty and taking control.

Oh, wait - how come it is allowed while still a member of the EU? Wasn't that one reason people wanted to leave?

Next thing you know; the UK will be deporting undesirables.

Whilst some might find it hilarious the rest of parliament have managed to delay Boris all the way along here to ensure he is discredited as much as possible in order for a GE. Meanwhile we all suffer.
Gesticulating he didn't make his date i guess highlights your mindset.. I refer you to my previous post 'if i can't play then I'll wreck the board so noone can'

Cut off your nose to spite your face is the term I believe.

Whilst you may well argue this term is the perfect analogy for Brexit, the point being, using this instability as leverage for more political power is not helping anyone here.
It's a pointless tug of war with us plebs stuck in the middle. Let's not forget Theresa May was laughed out the house and ridiculed because she tried to please everyone. We wanted a decisive pm some say devisive but he was a better bet than Hunt and still better than Kamasutra Corbyn or the democracy denier Swinson who is now best mates this week with Jimmy Kranky and Friar tuck the big f t f ck.
The only thing I would vote for now is a cross party coalition team to spearhead Brexit to stop this ****..something a bit like weirdo neanderthal looking horse jockey lookalike Rory Stewart suggested.

the trouble is that although Brexit works as a meaningless bundle of vote-catching slogans, it doesn't, seriously, make sense.

If you're a serious politician or public servant and you try to write down what people say they want, you can't do it and make a coherent case. Ministers and top Civil Servants keep resigning when they find they're ordered to do the impossible, and their bosses won't listen. Boris has surrounded himself with sycophantic yes-men who can't do the job he's promised.

After three and a half years, the Brexers can't agree what they're trying to do.

"Get Brexit Done" is as meaningless as "No deal is better than a bad deal"

We will. Be leaving the EU on the 31st ;)

Well. Transam will be any way

Rest of you can please yer selves :)

I see your mindset but you're an avid remainer using slogans such as

The vote wasnt binding it was meaningless you didnt know etc.

I appreciate you will never accept any Brexit deal as positive. But as I have said all along as have others incliding our Nigel, it is and will never be a deal.

We can get brexit done leaving the EU and negotiating post exit arrangements but wont work without a coalition parliament from all sides supporting the process this is one time the government should not be solely in charge perhaps. The problem being parliament were given the chance but instead they spent the time taking Boris to court pointing out how hurt they were and just adding more red tape to Brexit instead of looking for solutions.
