My lad has been messing with my computer and now I find that I have to keep logging on if I leave the computer for a few minutes.

Is there a fix please?

Do you mean logging onto the Windows or logging onto a web site if you leave it?

Try a system restore to yesterday, and see how that goes.
Just remembered, try to go back to a point last night just after you got rid of the Crawler toolbar.

Could be that ScreenSaver password has been set. Right click on desktop, pick properties and then the screen saver tab. Untick the "On resume, password protect" box.

Is the time, date and year set OK? That would affect your cookie and maybe cause the problem.
