i used to love the bill
entertaining amusing great drama fantastic never miss it great escapism :D

i agree things must change to keep up with the times if its an improvement
as far as i can see the recent changes have missed the target badly

the last change with the format and stupid music was one step to much
now when my video recordings for the last few days says now the bill my heart sinks
i am hoping it was a better program or show
even watching a show with a good plot line is difficult because off the stupid formatt

I think it's pretty sad when the population pore over silly soaps instead of documentaries and educational viewing.

So did I mate. Sadly  , or otherwise  having read your post, we no longer get it in Scotland.

That doesn't matter now. Just been confirmed that in 2 weeks, lock, stock and barrel we move down there. Any other programmes available in England but not in Scotland? Do they sell McEwans lager and irn bru?

Yeah, but no red cola Im afraid. I really like that stuff and you used to get 20p if you took the bottle back.

i dont watch soaps or reality tv
i enjoy documentaries and informative programs

the bill was light hearted drama with an ongoing cast that i and several millions in its hayday could relax to and unwind ;)

It was ok to watch ten years ago, when it was stand alone 1 hour episodes, then they tried to turn it into a soap with story arcs and it all fell apart................

Yes, it needed a script doctor and it got one: Harold Shipman. :(

I used to like the Bill as well till they changed the format - and then of course we lost it in Scotland, then I discovered you could get it on ITV3 but I stopped watching it cos the flashy camera angles and dodgy music was just too much.

Sad though - watched it for years.

There are so many programmes that STV are no longer showing - like Midsomer Murders - have had to resort to getting it via torrents (hope downloading TV programmes isn't illegal!!!!!!!)
