I would like to apply the Johnstone's acrylic durable matt to my new plaster wall and ceiling.
The seller said I can apply the Leyland contract matt as the mist coat then wait for few weeks (!) to dry then apply the Johnstone's acrylic durable matt, but I called Leyland and they said I don't need the Leyland contract matt but directly apply the Johnstone's acrylic durable matt with 2 parts water 8 parts paint as mist coat, then apply the second coat without dilution.
Just wonder if anyone have the experience in applying the acylic contract matt to a new plaster wall before please?
